  • The Ultimate Insider Guide to Shanghai Disney Resort

Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating its big 10th anniversary, and there has never been a better moment to explore this one-of-a-kind destination. This guide breaks down everything you need to know to plan a perfect trip to Shanghai Disneyland, Disneytown, Wishing Star Park, and the resort hotels. We also dive into the special experiences created just for this milestone year.

    Mickey Avenue

Mickey Avenue acts as the opening scene of Shanghai Disneyland. It welcomes you into the cheerful hometown of Mickey Mouse and his friends. Interestingly, this is only the second time a Disney park has skipped the traditional Main Street USA for something completely different.

The neighborhood takes its cues from early Disney animation. You will find Duffy and Friends, lively music, and colorful storefronts everywhere. The architecture blends styles like Art Nouveau and Italian Renaissance with a Midwestern American touch that reminds us of Walt Disney’s own roots.
