Introducing Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue
Set to open in Spring 2027, “Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue” will replace Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters and mark the very first appearance of the “Wreck-It Ralph” universe in a Disney Park. Guests will dive into the “Sugar Rush” racing game, teaming up with Ralph and Vanellope to protect the game world from “Sugar Bugs” – anomalies created by King Candy – with the goal of transforming them back into adorable candies and treats.

Space Mountain Earthrise and its Complete Renovation
The reimagining of the iconic Space Mountain, now named “Space Mountain Earthrise,” maintains its essence as an indoor cosmic journey while introducing a brand-new storyline, futuristic architecture, and an innovative ride system. The experience will kick off with a launch from Earth, immersing participants in a cosmic odyssey through space, punctuated by light and sound effects synchronized with celestial phenomena. This includes an onboard audio system, a first for a roller coaster at Tokyo Disney Resort, and will be presented by Coca-Cola.

Tomorrowland Plaza, a New Hub of Harmony
At the heart of this reimagined area, “Tomorrowland Plaza” is designed around the theme of harmony between humanity and nature, incorporating structures inspired by natural elements like fire, water, earth, and wood. The area’s lighting will transition from day to night, adapting to the cycles of the sun and moon for a transformed evening ambiance. It will also host a new quick-service restaurant, Element Express, offering snacks and beverages.
