Winter arrives at Shanghai Disney Resort with a wave of pure magic, turning the park into a stunning seasonal celebration from November 19, 2026, through February 20, 2027. Amidst the ongoing 10th Birthday festivities, the Disney Winter Frostival brings cozy entertainment, dazzling holiday décor, festive treats, and exclusive merchandise.
New entertainment takes center stage this winter with Star Squad: Join Olaf for a Cozy Celebration at the castle viewing area, where Olaf and Anna invite everyone to sing, dance, and light up the magic together. Beloved traditions return to warm up the chilly days, including Mickey’s Snow Magic turning Mickey Avenue into a living snow globe, the charming Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade, and A Celebration of Disney Winter Frostival illuminating the Enchanted Storybook Castle with stunning projections.
Stroll down Mickey Avenue and through the Gardens of Imagination to discover whimsical snow statues and ice sculptures inspired by classic characters, alongside special Zootopia-themed sculptures.
Mickey and Friends debut fresh, sporty winter ski outfits starting December 1, while Santa Goofy greets visitors on Mickey Avenue. Duffy and Friends also sport brand-new Christmas attire, and Disney Princesses and Queens appear in exclusive winter-only wardrobe pieces.
The holiday spirit stretches far beyond the theme park, transforming Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, Toy Story Hotel, and Disneytown with festive decorations and sparkling Christmas trees. Mickey’s Magical Tree Lighting Ceremony ignites the resort’s tallest tree, accompanied by live music and carolers. Disneytown features a charming Christmas Tree Trail, festive market, and Santa’s cabin.
As the year draws to a close, Ignite the New Year lights up the night sky over the castle on December 31 and January 1 to ring in the new year.
Warm up with delicious seasonal treats across the resort, from steaming hot chocolate and Mickey-shaped Youdunzi to hearty set menus at Royal Banquet Hall and Aurora. Exclusive merchandise collections, such as the Mickey and Friends Ski Party Collection and the Duffy and Friends Christmas Wishes Collection, offer the perfect keepsakes.
Guests looking to extend their magical stay can book special winter packages, including the Disney Dream Vacation Winter Frostival Package featuring hotel stays, dining vouchers, and reserved viewing areas, or opt for dated ticket deals that include quick-service dining coupons.
