Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teamed up with the master craftspeople at Maelis, based near Toulouse, to bring these massive lighting fixtures to life. Several local workshops also joined forces on the project, mastering everything from glass engraving and photographic printing to intricate lighting systems.

These chandeliers do much more than just illuminate the space. They form the beating heart of the store’s visual identity, requiring months of research, prototyping, and testing. One of the toughest challenges? Capturing that elusive Pixie Dust sparkle. Balancing advanced technology with pure emotion took endless collaboration between designers and artisans.

Corinne and Frédéric Colombo lead La Manufacture de France behind the scenes, carrying on a family lighting legacy that dates all the way back to 1939. Alongside Maelis, they bring a fresh, contemporary approach to custom lighting design.

Today, these two masterpieces stand proudly as defining symbols of Disney Wonders. They prove that when visionary creative minds meet passionate artisans, pure magic happens right above your head.
