Fans eagerly lined up for their chance to shop, greeted with special commemorative giveaways for the day: a postcard, stickers, and paper headbands. Many shoppers sported their Disney merchandise, chatting excitedly about what they hoped to add to their collections.

A fan-favorite tradition at Disney Store is the opening ceremony, and it continued here beautifully. Each morning, one lucky guest gets to “unlock” the store with a majestic, larger-than-life ceremonial key. Even before you step inside, the eye-catching exterior immediately sets the mood. One side features a bright Garden State “mural,” while the other displays select New Jersey symbols – both perfect for a photo op to show off your visit.

You’ll also spot multi-dimensional window displays: Spider-Man swinging into action (almost straight from Queens!), and a sweet 100th anniversary Pooh Bear with his pals and pot of hunny.

Stepping into the 2,300 square feet of retail space, it feels instantly colorful, whimsical, and transporting. A vibrant New Jersey art piece welcomes you right in, showing Mickey & Friends in casual streetwear playing tunes, alongside the signature plush tower.

Character portraits featuring Princess Jasmine, Olaf, Winnie the Pooh, Super Heroes, and other familiar faces adorn the walls, complete with sparkling motifs and dazzling design elements.

If you look up, you’ll even notice characters blending seamlessly with the gradient – it’s a fun game to see how many you can count!

And one of my favorite details? The decals on all the full-length mirrors, so your “outfit of the day” photo lets everyone know you’re at Disney Store Limited Time!

One section boasts old-school diner-inspired graphics that feel perfectly at home in Jersey, with a neon sign for fresh bagels and a marker for Highway 17.

Another “Easter egg” locals will appreciate: violets, the state flower, tucked into the trim of the artwork in this area.

Something truly special about this store, and distinctly Disney, are the “magic mirrors.” They show characters dropping in from their worlds in a dynamic, almost interactive way. You might catch Chip ‘n’ Dale popping up to wave hello in the diner window, or the Mistress of All Evil, Maleficent, strolling menacingly past a door.
