Hello everyone, today we propose you an article about the “Star Wars Night” 2017!.
On May 5 and 6, we participated in an evening Star Wars which is tenai at Walt Disney Studios Park and discovered the new attraction “Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain” in Disneyland park.
The evening was at the price of €49 for a standard ticket and those who wished, the discovery of Hyperspace Mountain in preview required a Premium ticket at € 64. Yes, you have noted, the two Star Wars Night are more expensive than the evening annual of halloween at € 45.
As for all evenings, access are at 5 p.m. at the Disneyland Park with a massive withdrawal of bracelets, even for premium ticket, the queue line are the same that the standard ticket with more half-hour to wait. 20 h, Walt Disney Studios Park, the evening is officially launched. For the occasion, an alternative entry has been designed with a path surrounded by Red lamps and two arches black cardboard. For those who have had the luck, and who went to 20 h, the Stormtroopers was present 30 minutes to welcome you. During it’s moment a man is intervened with a microphone and the crowd filmed is broadcast on a giant screen. A supermarket atmosphere emerges when are advertised the attractions and restaurants open for the evening.
For visitors who, like us, make a tour program for the night, from 7:45 pm we headed in the photo point of Chewbacca. It started with 20 minutes late and we got out at 9 pm. This meeting in the preshow of “Disney Junior: Live on stage” with a good backdrop, smoke on the ground and an imitation of vegetation on the walls.
9 pm: the March of the 501st legion marched to Backlot at Production Courtyard before returning to Backlot and allowed us to see, among others, Darth Sidious.
Side attraction, count no more than 15 minutes on average with an evening that was not sold-out. During the evening, the Dance Party led by DJ Elliot had started finally giving a feel to the Park while the Star Wars theme is exceptionally present in animation and sound atmosphere.
But no time to lose, direction the “Jedi Training Academy” in the Animagique Theater . The result is more than striking with image quality giving the impression that Videopolis was of course stage. It was grandiose. On the show itself, no surprise, it was a copy of that played in the first Park but with a real R2D2. A fine achievement.
To close the evening, nothing better than the nightime show “Star Wars: A Galactic celebration” on the Hollywood Tower Hotel. A must !
criticism
Negative point, we find first the few pieces of scenery recycled from the first evening Star Wars Night 2015, streetlights in the place of the stars and a few lights at the entrance to the Park, disappoint a lot.
But the decors is nothing compared to the street entertainment. Because Yes, disney still appealed to providers. Result, we found animations present in the evening are the same of the regretted and creatives evening of Terrorrific Night. Finally, this evening in the second Park can be summed up in terms of animation to the DJ Party. Single good point but without to be related to Star Wars. But the Park is he doomed to only present just a DJ Party whatever the name of the night and without real artistic creations Disney ?
Once again the night show “Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration” was there to raise the level and quality of the evening even if is played 3 months a year for seasons star Wars of January has March.
In summary:
We can resume the evening by : we have having a good time, but not anymore. And that’s a problem because pay for a more expensive than Halloween party while having a poor offer, with 3 of the 5 show during the evening that we can see during the day and 4 shows on 5 that we can see during the season ofthe force 5. So it ends up with an evening without novelty, without artistic creation and which the Party DJ lies once again be the cure déjà vu.
It is sad to see that Disney is forced to go through an organization of Star Wars Fan to offer a parade of characters of the saga as the resort can not afford to pay the costumes and the cast to create a great Parade for the evening.
We can see that the offer and especially the price of the evenings on the parks for the Star Wars Night 2015 or 2017 have pushed back visitors. The evenings were never sold to 100%. Special offers to Cast Members of last minutes show each time that Disney wish to catch up with the disaster by selling evenings at €10 and not € 49.
Simply that Disney understands that he must propose nights for € 30-35 so that Parisians can on a whim, go on Disney. And if possible, offer evenings in the Disneyland Park, which, even without new decorations for the evening, already allows to be in another world.
