Did you know that behind the magic, Disneyland Paris Cast Members regularly dedicate their time to making a difference? Recently, the resort shone a spotlight on their incredible commitment during Disney VoluntEARS Week, a special event celebrating solidarity and community involvement.
From June 6 to 11, 2026, Disneyland Paris truly dedicated a whole week to solidarity and community action. It was a fantastic opportunity for Cast Members and local associations to connect, engage, and make an impact. This special week even coincided with the United Nations’ International Year of Volunteers, which is a lovely touch, don’t you think?
The goal? To showcase the amazing diversity of actions happening year-round at Disneyland Paris, all driven by the VoluntEARS program. The highlight of the week was definitely the Disney VoluntEARS Academy, held on June 9 at Disney Village.
For six days, Disney VoluntEARS Week brought together initiatives combining solidarity, awareness, and direct action. It wasn’t just about doing good; it was also about showing Cast Members all the different ways they can get involved. This focus helps boost participation in social responsibility efforts and truly highlights the power of both individual and team contributions.
The program kicked off on Saturday, June 6, with a special day in the Parks. Cast Members accompanied various associations, bringing smiles and magic. On Sunday, they took to the water, participating in a canoe clean-up operation on the Morin River – talk about hands-on action!
Earlier in the week, Cast Members also prepared gift bags for children on Disney Wish stays. These stays are a truly heartwarming part of Disneyland Paris’s wish-granting program. In 2025 alone, teams at Disneyland Paris hosted nearly 20 Disney Wish stays, welcoming children and their families from all over Europe. What an impact!
June 9 marked the big highlight: the Disney VoluntEARS Academy, held at the Dome in Disney Village. Imagine walking in and seeing all these incredible organizations! Cast Members explored stands from partners like the French Red Cross, the Louis Braille Museum, and the Jane Goodall Institute.
They also jumped into interactive workshops and chatted with internal teams, like the Rescue Operations crew. This event was a brilliant way to learn about volunteering, discover concrete ways to get involved, and truly showcase the dedication of both Cast Members and the participating organizations.
The week kept rolling with a nature day just for children from local communities. Later, Cast Members went behind the scenes for a special workshop, creating surprise gifts for hospitalized children – a truly heartwarming effort.
Céline Da Silva, Senior Manager for Corporate Social Responsibility, summed it up perfectly: “Volunteering is part of Disney’s DNA. Disney VoluntEARS Week highlights the vast range of causes we support and shows how much our company and each Cast Member’s commitment can create a real impact through concrete acts of solidarity.”
These initiatives truly embody values of solidarity, responsibility, and cooperation. More than that, they strengthen the team spirit and shared pride among everyone involved. It’s fantastic to see!
And just to put things in perspective: in 2025 alone, Disney VoluntEARS contributed over 19,000 hours to philanthropic actions led by Disneyland Paris. That’s an incredible amount of dedication!
