On June 9th, over 300 Cast Members gathered at the iconic it’s a small world attraction. The occasion? The 4th Disneyland Paris Duck Races, all set to celebrate Donald Duck’s birthday with a vibrant Disney Adventure World theme! The sun even decided to make a special appearance, making for a morning packed with sharing, adventure, and, of course, plenty of ducks.
So, what are the Disneyland Paris Duck Races all about? It’s a fantastic, festive, and truly committed event, a tradition that started nearly twenty years ago at Disneyland Resort in California. On Donald’s special day, Cast Members unite to bring a little extra magic to those who need it most, fueled by their incredible generosity. It’s a wonderful way for the park’s heart and soul to give back.
The main event, the speed race, certainly didn’t disappoint! Picture this: a channel full of plastic ducks, each vying for victory. After a truly fierce competition, three little ducks managed to pull ahead, securing a very close finish on the podium. Talk about high stakes!
But the fun didn’t stop there. The highly anticipated decoration contest saw over 70 Cast Members unleash their incredible creativity. Inspired by the upcoming worlds of Disney Adventure World, their intricate creations were a testament to their true craftsmanship and boundless inventiveness. You could really see the passion shining through!
This sunny morning wrapped up with an exciting awards ceremony, hosted by our lovely 2026-2027 Ambassadors, Agathe Soul and Mónica Cosson. They had the honor of unveiling the big winners of both competitions. The suspense was real! Each victor received a unique trophy, specially created for the event by our very own Cast Members from the Graphic Shop team. How cool is that?
