Star Wars Night : Program

Hier soir Disney nous a convié avec de nombreux représentants de d’autres sites pour nous présenter la soirée Star Wars du 16 Décembre prochain à Discoveryland.

Yesterday Disney we has invited with comrades of other Disney site and the galaxy far far away for a presentation of the Star Wars night the 16th December in Discoveryland to Disneyland Paris.

La présentation de la soirée et de détails ont été réalisés par Emmanuel Lenormand, show director à Disneyland Paris et Patrice Girod, Collectionneur et Spécialiste Star Wars en France ayant participé à l’élaboration de la soirée.

Cette soirée a été initiée tardivement après l’accord de la Direction pour un événement sur cet univers qui n’avait jamais eu lieu dans l’histoire de Disneyland Paris. Et pourtant, ce n’est pas faute d’avoir essayé à au moins à deux reprises d’organiser des Star Wars Week-End en France, mais pas validé car il n’y avait probablement pas assez de budget. Résultat, les équipes travaillent d’arrache pieds pour offrir une soirée en seulement 6 semaines!

The presentation of the night was carried by Emmanuel Lenormand, show director at Disneyland Paris and Patrice Girod, Collector and Specialist Star Wars in France which participated in the preparation of the evening.

This event was initiated tardily, due to the agreement given by management for an event on this universe that had never occurred in the history of Disneyland Paris. Yet it is not for lack of trying at least twice to organize Star Wars Weekend in France but never validated (probably for budgetary reason). Result, the teams are working hard to offer this night with only six weeks of preparation!

Alors, la soirée 100% Star Wars va donner quoi ?

La soirée commencera par une parade exclusive à 20h qui aura lieu sur Main Street USA avec des stars à bord de véhicules et 60 personnages de la saga avec notamment Kylo Ren ! Et une fois sur Central Plaza, les personnes assistant à la soirée seront invitées à suivre les personnages de Star Wars à entrer dans Discoveryland privatisé en passant par un tunnel intergalactique.
En parlant du land, ce dernier sera entièrement décoré d’affiches de personnages, scènes du dernier volet et affiches géantes des films allant jusqu’à 6 mètres de hauts sur les bâtiments. En plus, il faut compter sur des spots, jeux de lumières mais aussi trois BGM (musique de fond) créés pour le land, le bâtiment Videopolis et Discoveryland Theater.
Discoveryland Theater sera le point de rendez-vous pour la conférence sur la saga avec Robert Watts superviseur de production sur Star Wars, l’acteur Jeremy Bulloch (dans le rôle du chasseur de primes Boba Fett) Jersey Bolock, Robert Blalak et Patrice Girod, pour une présentation Star Wars exclusive sur les aventures et expériences vécues. 4 séances seront organisées durant la soirée dans le théâtre de 604 places.

En sortant de la conférence vous pourrez vous décontracter dans la discothèque en plein aire, pulsant les notes de Star Wars remixées pour faire la fête entre piste de danse et des bars. Sur tout Discoveryland au moins quatre points photolocations seront aménagés avec des arrières plans reprenant en fond des images des films de la saga dont le dernier sortie le jour même. Un concours pour les visiteurs costumés sur l’univers des films sera organisé devant un des Background et jugé en fonction des thèmes comme Jedi, Princesse, Alien, ou encore droïd. Une réplique de BB8 sera aussi présente pour vous saluer tout comme un stand de maquillage gratuit à Videopolis.
Videopolis et son Café Hyperion seront thématisés sur la saga avec de nombreux posters géants et recevront de nombreux évènements. Un Spectacle de 8 minutes avec un combat entre Jedi et Sith. Mais le plus important est l’animation proposée avec le Padawan Challenge qui se trouve être un quizz géant dont le but est de confronter les connaissances des Fans de Star Wars pour qu’il n’en reste plus qu’un ! (idéal pour les groupes d’amis connaisseurs sur l’univers des films). Une récompense sera alors offerte à tous les participants et d’avantage au gagnant !

Mais Disney nous réserve encore plus de surprises car ce sera l’occasion de faire de belles photos souvenirs avec les Stormtroopers, Dark Vador, R2D2 ou encore Chewbacca, sans oublier la garnison française de la 501e qui patrouillera pour la Grande Marche Impériale qui aura lieu 2 fois durant la soirée. De quoi offrir une ambiance du tonnerre pour l’évènement en plus des Cast Memebers maquillés et des attractions ouvertes pour les 5 500 visiteurs

Enfin, c’est à minuit que Dark Vador et Maître Yoda nous offriront un grand final sur les hauteurs du Star Traders à l’entrée de l’attraction mythique Star Tours.

Vous l’aurez compris cette soirée est faite pour célébrer Star Wars et l’aventure qui continue entre visiteurs passionnés ou non, costumés ou non qui voudront passer une soirée dans une galaxie très très lointaine.

What is the program of the evening?

The evening begins with an exclusive parade which will take place at 20h on Main Street USA with stars in vehicles and 60 characters of the saga including Kylo Ren! And once on Central Plaza, the guests attending for the night will be invited to follow the Star Wars characters to enter Discoveryland privatized through an intergalactic tunnel.
Speaking of discoveryland, it will be fully decorated with displays of the characters, scenes from the last movie. this is of giant posters up to 6 meters high on buildings. In addition, The lighting effects but also three BGM (background music) create for the land, the building of Videopolis and Discoveryland Theater.
Discoveryland Theater will be the point of appointment for the conference on the saga with Robert Watts production supervisor on Star Wars, actor Jeremy Bulloch (in the role of bounty hunter Boba Fett) Jersey Bolock, Robert Blalak and Patrice Girod, for an exclusive Star Wars presentation on the adventures and experiences lived. 4 sessions will be held during the evening in the theater of 604 seats.

Leaving the conference you could you relaxed in the great disco on the notes Star Wars remixed for partying between the stand of cocktail surrounding it. On Discoveryland at least four points photolocations will be landscaped with backgrounds taking funds of the movies of the saga and the last episode VII. A costumes contest on the universe of the movies will be organized in front of the on Background in the land and judged on five criteria as Jedi, Princess, alien, or droid. A Replica of BB8 will also present to greet you, like a free makeup stand at Videopolis .
Videopolis and his Café Hyperion will be themed on the saga with many posters Giants and will receive many events. A performance of 8 minutes with a battle between Jedi and Sith. But the most important is the animation Padawan Challenge, a giant quiz. the aim is to confront the knowledge of the Star Wars Fans so that it remains more than one! (ideal for groups of knowledgeable friends on the universe of the movies). A reward will be then offered to all participant and more to the winners!

But Disney will bring even more surprise because this will be an opportunity to make beautiful memories with the Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, R2D2, or even Chewbacca, not forgetting the French garrison of the 501st who patrol 2 times during the evening for the great imperial March . What offer an ambience of Thunder for the event in addition to the makeup Cast Memebers and attractions open for 5 500 visitors.

Finally, it is at midnight that Darth Vader and master Yoda we will offer a great final on the heights of Star Traders at the entrance to the mythical attraction Star Tours.

You’ll understand this evening is made to celebrate Star Wars, celebrate that the adventure continues between visitors passionate or not, Cosplay or not, for the guests which want to spend an evening in a Galaxy very distant.
