The meeting was focused on the efforts to improve the quality of the guest experience at Disneyland.
To start with, we asked him how he perceived the closure of the parks mid-November?
He wanted to highlight the commitment and involvement of Cast Members to continue to welcome the staying guests in the best conditions. The decision to close the parks was made out of respect for national mourning.
The conversation first tackled the renovation topic.

Speaking of the pardons, Mr. Delcourt wishes to begin by thanking the Cast Members on last year, with returns and rates of satisfaction which was almost all best over the previous year while major attractions had been closed by going beyond the objective and are higher than previous years. And for him, The cast make the difference, it is not because there is a new coat of paint will it make a difference, although the coat of paint is necessary. The difference is that by the Cast Members and it is them who are visitors.

Mr. Delcourt would also like to indicate that it participate in the development of a program by the Cast Members for the Cast Members to train more employees for the courtesy, so next year it will be close to 9000 employees who will be trained in the field at their positions to continue to push the excellence of the destination.

Daniel Delcourt, explains us an anecdote. At his arrival, he asked the map of to see all meeting point of the Disney characters, but between the reality and the succession of levels and differents filters pass befor him. Result between the map of the meeting point and statistics satisfactions which is in constants down , Daniel Delcourt is go on the park. He realized that there were only 4 permanent meeting point and the others were totally random.

Finaly he demanded that meeting places is attached and can no longer move so that visitors can see and Disney communicate on the mobile application and program.
From January 8, 2016, on Disneyland Park, visitors will be able to meet the Disney characters on its differents points:

But it is based on this fact that Daniel Delcourt decided to continue his tours in parks (as Walt Disney advise ) to see specifically what will and won’t. That is how Mr Delcourt since his arrival, brings a new dynamic and a perfectionist vision by rebroadcasting the company’s values.
The park renovation program initiated early 2015 supports this vision. It highlights the efforts and synergy of Operational and Imagineering teams to carry out this project. Every little detail counts. For him, « attention to detail will make the difference ».
Additional precision and importance budgets for maintenance will be more consistent to better maintain the attractions after renovation. This is a radical change.

Other decisions:

-A new provider of cleaning has been chosen for best results,
-Disney characters are going to be testing 3 months in hotels (except the Ranch David Croquet) before a final return if it is favourable
-From February to may 2016, a new show arrives at the Chaparral Theater
-Return after 10 years, performing at the Lucky Nuggets Saloon,
-free Wifi will be arriving in the Walt Disney Studios, end 2016 Park and in the Disneyland Park, beginning 2017.
-Finalization of the technical part to support the artistic of the new show replacing Animagique which will not be in black light, early July 2016,
-Disney has some surprises on the seasons after the 25th anniversary
-Currently launched strategy which is to relaunch the destination to the standing of Disney. Now the animations in the street (type : trolley show or Dapper Dans sing boy band) are not envisaged, pending new objectives,
-Disney Village is no longer in line with the vision of Disney wanting a family place where life is good, rehabilitation is to the study,
-Disney studied more contrasting colors for the Castle from Disneyland to better withstand climate (a stronger Pink for example),
-The 2015 objectives have been maintained and investments preserved despite the terrorist attacks.
-Mark Twain (Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing) is part of a plan of renovation over 10 years in the aftermath of the 25th anniversary.

You will understand, Disneyland Paris is a ship that has to move forward and to do this, it requires lot of time and energy. Mr. Delcourt and his teams are doing everything in order to develop the destination in the right direction, because it will not only come from the renovations but also through dedication and the sense of service of the Cast Members.. This is the goal of Daniel Delcourt at the dawn of the 25th anniversary.

Finally, Mr Delcourt announces a project that should see the day beginning 2017 for the 25th anniversary which has as project Smart Media name. In fact, today if you come to four in a Disney hotel for two nights and you have the room card, tickets parks, half board and the dinner-show Buffalo Bill Wild West Show, you have total 54 coupons! It is a waste of time for the Cast Members and visitors. This new system in the form of credit card to dematerialize his tickets. The tests will be by January 2016 hotel by hotel, until its application early 2017.

This name is not final. It will be equipped with RFID technology, such as Walt Disney World Resort but in Paris, the device will be a unique card for families staying at the Parisien Resort.
