  • Beloved Entertainment Returns to Disneyland Resort in 2027

Imagine sitting on the curb, waiting for a parade, or feeling the excitement build before a dazzling nighttime show at Disneyland Resort. Those moments create lifelong memories, and the park’s entertainment always delivers magic from morning till night.

During D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, host Neil Patrick Harris spoke about this very feeling. He shared his deep love for Disneyland’s spectaculars and parades, cherishing those moments under the stars with his kids. He even wished he could relive them all.

Well, Neil, consider your wish granted! Disneyland Resort just announced the return of some truly cherished entertainment in 2027. Get ready for two fan-favorite nighttime spectaculars and a beloved daytime parade!

“Remember… Dreams Come True” Lights Up Disneyland Once Again

Longtime Disneyland fans and fireworks lovers, prepare for an incredible treat!

A refreshed version of the “Remember… Dreams Come True” nighttime spectacular will return to Disneyland Park in February 2027. Besides the classic projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle, the show will feature brand new projections. Look out for them at Rivers of America, on the “it’s a small world” façade, and stretching all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.

You can enjoy nightly scheduled performances filled with music and projections. On select evenings, fireworks will burst above Disneyland Park, making the experience even more magical.

This spectacular first debuted for Disneyland Resort’s 50th anniversary. It features a vocal introduction by the legendary Julie Andrews and showcases the power of wishes and dreams through favorite Disney stories. Walt Disney’s vision for Disneyland comes alive with songs and familiar phrases from the park’s most popular attractions.

Original “World of Color” Returns to California Adventure

Neil also announced that an updated take on the original “World of Color” nighttime spectacular will return to Disney California Adventure Park, starting in February 2027.

This version takes you on an imaginative journey into the colorful worlds of Walt Disney Animation Studios, featuring classics like The Little Mermaid and The Lion King. You’ll also see stories from Pixar Animation Studios, including Finding Nemo and Toy Story. The whole experience is woven together with a beautiful musical score, which includes a special arrangement of the 1960s television theme from Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.

“Magic Happens” Parade Returns to Disneyland

Just in time for summer 2027, the “Magic Happens” parade will once again fill the streets of Disneyland Park. It brings inspirational moments of magic from cherished Disney stories to life.

This high-energy daytime parade features stunning floats, artistic costumes, and imaginative music. You’ll see dynamic performers and your favorite characters.

Led by Mickey Mouse and his friends, the “Magic Happens” parade tells distinct stories. It blends contemporary and classic elements, feeling both fun and regal, surprising yet familiar. Watch as pumpkins transform into carriages and swords are pulled from a stone, highlighting tales from Disney Animation, like Cinderella and The Sword in the Stone, plus Pixar’s Coco.
