Heigh-ho, everyone! Get ready, because on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, the beloved family attraction, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, will welcome you back at Disneyland Paris after a four-month refurbishment. Come with us for an exclusive peek behind the scenes!
For several weeks, dedicated teams from Imagineering Paris, Design & Delivery, Maintenance, and the Central Workshops have been meticulously working on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This attraction, a true classic in Fantasyland since the park opened, draws its magic from the iconic 1937 Disney animated film. These closures, which might seem a bit sad when an attraction is unavailable, are actually crucial. Our Disney Parks are open year-round, 365 days a year, so these temporary refurbishments are essential to ensure everything remains in tip-top shape and offers a top-quality experience for all guests.
Even before you step inside, you’ll notice the magic begins in the queue! The team has refreshed the entire area, repainting floors, walls, columns, woodwork, and railings. Look up, and you’ll spot a brand-new themed chandelier, adding a touch of sparkle to your wait.
Inside the attraction, the beloved cottage scene received special attention. The walls were completely sanded and repainted, making them as vibrant and fresh as they were on Disneyland Park’s opening day! From the stage to the beams, all the woodwork now shines with a fresh coat of hand-painted detail. Even our dear Dwarfs got a touch-up: their figures were sent to Disneyland Paris’s Central Workshops for meticulous repainting.
And for the grand finale, there’s a brand-new Snow White figure! This beautiful resin figure, crafted and hand-painted in workshops in Seine-et-Marne, brings her character design even closer to the original animated film. It also improves safety for our Cast Members who operate and maintain the attraction, which is always a priority behind the scenes. The painted mural in the final scene is richer too, with the addition of the Prince and his horse. This small but significant detail makes the ending feel even more aligned with the movie’s happy conclusion!
Beyond these highlights, the teams also touched up the blacklight paint effects, and thoroughly cleaned and repainted all floors inside Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Lighting got a big refresh too, with every projector cleaned and optimized to make the show scenes pop even more! Outside the attraction, you’ll spot another lovely change: the old “Exit Only” sign near Pinocchio’s Fantastic Journey has been replaced by a beautiful new hand-painted mural. It features Snow White and her forest friends, making the exit clearer and much more magical for guests.
So mark your calendars! Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs reopens its doors to all guests on July 28, 2026. Just a heads-up: you might still see some scaffolding on the attraction’s exterior facade until autumn 2026. This is part of a wider refurbishment project for Fantasyland’s rooftops, which will be adapted to better accommodate our Entertainment teams and pyrotechnic equipment in the future.
