Adventure is out there! Get ready to earn your wings because Pixar’s Up is finally getting its own dedicated spot at Disney Adventure World in 2027.

Located right across from the Rapunzel Tangled Spin attraction, construction for Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings is already in full swing. This new experience puts us right in the middle of Russell’s world. We’ll join the tribe to earn our very own « Aviation » badge while soaring over the park to that unforgettable soundtrack.

Think of it as a classic « flying chairs » ride with a massive Disney upgrade. The attraction will feature 64 seats, including double chairs for those who want to fly together. To make the flight feel more dynamic, the top canopy will tilt while it spins, adding a great sense of movement to Adventure Way.

The design looks stunning. It mixes Art Nouveau elegance with industrial touches and wrought iron arches. Keep your eyes open for cloud and balloon patterns throughout the structure. There is even a tiny golden replica of Carl and Ellie’s house perched on the roof spire!

The storytelling doesn’t stop at the ride itself. The queue will take us through four distinct zones filled with props from the film. We’ll see Carl’s childhood aviator goggles and Ellie’s famous Adventure Book before we board.

This whole area will sit inside a new themed garden. It’s going to be a lush, green space perfect for a quick escape before diving back into the rest of Disney Adventure World. See you in the skies in 2027!
