  • Disneyland Paris Spreads Back-to-School Magic to Children in Need

As the back-to-school season arrives, Disneyland Paris has been busy spreading a little magic. In recent days, the resort distributed over 700 back-to-school kits to children from charitable organizations who enjoyed a special day of escape in the Disney Parks.

This annual distribution rounds off a fantastic summer where more than 8,000 young people from various charities were invited to experience the parks. For many families who can’t take vacations, this long-standing commitment offers them a day of wonder, fun, and magic, creating beautiful memories to cherish as they head back to school.

Beyond the school supply kits, the summer was filled with other incredible moments:

5,000 Children from Secours Populaire Invited by Disneyland Paris

This summer, Disneyland Paris once again teamed up with Secours populaire français for its “Forgotten by Holidays” campaign. This collaboration started right when the resort opened in 1992, and it continues to bring moments of escape, sharing, and magic to thousands of children and families from all over France who might not otherwise get to go on holiday.

Throughout the summer, 5,000 children supported by Secours populaire français visited the Parks. They enjoyed attractions, watched spectacular shows, and met beloved Disney Characters. These days offered a much-needed break from daily life and helped create precious memories.

Our amazing Disney VoluntEARS – Cast Members who volunteer their free time – showed up in large numbers to welcome and guide the children through their magical experience.

Disney Magic for Children in Deauville with Stitch and the VoluntEARS

Sometimes, the magic extends beyond the park gates! Disneyland Paris brought its enchantment to Deauville on August 19 for a special day at the beach. Secours populaire organized this event for 5,000 young people from the Paris region.

Stitch, joined by the dedicated Disney VoluntEARS, made the day even more unforgettable. They danced to Hawaiian rhythms, bringing extra joy to the young attendees.

School Supplies Donated by Generous Cast Members

The spirit of giving continued into late August with another wonderful solidarity initiative.

As the school year approached, school supplies donated by Disneyland Paris Cast Members were given to children. This thoughtful gesture ensures they have the right materials for school and extends the positive impact of this solidarity far beyond the summer holidays.

This initiative truly shows how committed our Cast Members are to making a real difference for children and families who need it most.
