Hello everyone and Happy New Year, this is our first article of the year, on this launch weekend of the second season Star Wars “season of the Force”.
But let’s go back to the end of the Christmas season which was marked by the magnificent last performance of “Mickey’s Christmas Big Bang” with notably the teams of the entertainment and creative department. We hope that this show will come back in the coming winters and why not to produce it year-round !?

This January 7, 2018, was also the time to say goodbye to the original version of Phantom Manor (Haunted Mansion). No excitement, but a relief, the attraction will finally have the right to an update on the same model as that of American parks carried since more than 10 years.
Moreover, the manor which saw its exterior facade deteriorate for more than two years without counting the decorations and effects inside, will be able to be refurbished.
On the last day of operation, a “Last Trip” badge was distributed to visitors.
But to get warm, nothing better than a break in the Agrabah Café Restaurant in Adventureland.
January 13, 2018: This is the launch of the second edition of the Star Wars season until March 25th. Let’s discover the new decorations!
The season is clearly announced at the entrance into Studio 1 at the Walt Disney Studios Park and discovering Unstandard decorations! Two big Star Wars Fighter are on display. The discovery of the X-Wing should be immediate by acting as a magnet on visitors. This is not really the case because this new set is melting in a already loaded environment. Each of the two ships weighs 4 tons!
Outside, there are three other ships from the Star Wars universe not created by Disney, but by Legion 501, a fan association of the Star Wars universe. It will be regretted that the vessels are exposed without being emphasized and left on their roller supports. More broadly, the effort made by Disney in Studio 1 should be replicated outdoors with better-valued vessels.
The First Order March is back with a new choreography that puts much more value on this animation making it inevitable.
Always on the animations, the patrols of Stormtroopers make the joy of the visitors.
For the show whether it’s for “Star Wars: A Galaxy far, far away” or for “Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration” we will remember three things: improved visual effects, improved choreography and new characters. The night show, which was already a real gem, is this year the must of the differents nighttime shows.
As you understand it, the Walt Disney Studios Park comes back with its annual Star Wars event and adjustments that are fun to see as they improve the experience. An experience that continues at Disneyland Park with Star Tours but especially hyperspace Mountain.
Finally, to finish this article, we will note that magrés the shows creates for the season no Meet and Greet with Star Wars characters are offered for visitors for the event.
