  • Disneyland Paris Hits a Heartwarming Milestone: 25,000 Wishes Fulfilled!

Get ready for some truly heartwarming news! Disneyland Paris just hit an incredible milestone, one that brings smiles to thousands of children and families every year. We’re talking about pure magic, folks!

Since 1992, Disneyland Paris has made a huge commitment to bringing joy to those who need it most. They’ve just announced a phenomenal achievement: 25,000 wishes fulfilled for seriously ill children! This incredible feat happened thanks to close partnerships with numerous French and European associations, including familiar names like Make-A-Wish, Rêves, and Petits Princes.

And guess who marked the 25,000th wish? A little girl named Lou! On March 28th, Lou, a huge fan of Frozen and Olaf, had her wish granted by Make-A-Wish France during the inauguration of the World of Frozen. She knew she would sing on stage, but imagine her surprise when her idol, singer Santa, invited her to join her for a few notes of « Do You Want to Build a Snowman? » in front of a mesmerized audience. What a moment!

That scene was truly touching, a memory suspended in time. It’s the kind of unforgettable magic that stays with Lou and her family forever. That’s what these wishes are all about, right?

This commitment isn’t new; it’s been going strong for over 30 years, ever since the park opened its gates in 1992. Every year, over a thousand seriously ill children and their families get to experience a moment of escape and joy right here in the heart of the Disney world. This happens thanks to really close collaboration with more than 50 French and European associations.

With these 25,000 wishes granted, the goal remains the same: to offer each child a magical interlude, far from their daily medical routine. It’s about letting families share an unforgettable memory together. Pure, unadulterated joy.

This historic milestone wouldn’t be possible without our amazing Disney VoluntEARS. These dedicated Cast Members go above and beyond to make every single visit unique. They arrange special park discoveries, exclusive character meet-and-greets, and incredible surprises, all perfectly tailored to each child’s wish.

Marie-Françoise Arrighi, Head of the Disneyland Paris Children’s Wishes program, explains it perfectly: « Creating unique moments, full of strength and hope, that’s at the core of our team’s mission. Our partnership with Make-A-Wish and many other associations across France and Europe helps us meet each child’s and family’s specific needs. »

The magic didn’t stop there! On Sunday, March 29th, forty Make-A-Wish families from all over Europe got a special treat. They were the very first to explore Adventure Way before stepping into the World of Frozen. How incredible is that? What a way to kick off a new land!
