  • Anna and Elsa Bring Arendelle’s Magic to Hospitalized Children in Lille

Sometimes the magic of Disneyland Paris travels far beyond the park gates to reach those who need it most. Anna and Elsa recently made a special trip to Lille to visit young patients at the Jeanne de Flandre Hospital, bringing a much-needed dose of joy to the pediatric ward.

On April 14 and 15, 2026, the royal sisters from Arendelle spent two days meeting children and their families. Accompanied by Disney VoluntEARS, they shared smiles and creative activities that helped everyone forget the hospital routine for a while. It is heartening to see these characters step out of the screen to brighten a difficult day.

The visit also celebrated Earth Month with special environmental workshops. Children discovered the nature spirits of Arendelle through fun, educational challenges. With help from the VoluntEARS, they decorated flower pots and even planted their own heather to take home.

This visit brought a piece of the new World of Frozen from the reimagined Disney Adventure World directly to the kids. It’s a wonderful way to share the excitement of the latest park expansions with those who can’t travel to the resort right now.

Providing these magical moments remains a core mission for the resort. Since 1992, more than 40,000 hospitalized children across France and Europe have experienced these visits. When the kids can’t visit the parks, the Disney VoluntEARS ensure the magic finds its way to them.
