Last week we make an article on the 10th anniversary of the Tower of Terror at the Walt Disney Studios Park.

This was also an opportunity for the destination to launch its new spring season “Pirates & Princesses Festival”

To begin, the first show “Disney Pirate and Princess : Make your choice!” in which visitors are invited to meet their favorite Team and support them for the great show on Central Plaza. Not surprisingly, video tutorials on the internet have no success to learn the dance of each Team. Disneyland Paris should do as at Tokyo Disney Resort, before each show, cast Member teach to visitors the dance directly on each scene of performances for public participation or so, stop this type of interactions that does not work since 26 years.

This show has 100 artists-dancers, acrobats and characters-and plays 4 times a day during all the week. On the princesses side, there is Mickey mouse with 9 Disney princesses, including Moana, a great surprise ! On the pirate side, the visitors can see Minnie Mouse with Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Jack Sparrow, Peter Pan or Wendy as well as 21 pirate acrobats!

The structure of the show is simple, 2 units; A pirate, a princess. Each of them is part of the two ends of the parade course. One will start from « It’s a small World » with a first stop at « Royal Castle stage « , while the second, start from « Main Street » and make a stop at the center of the Boulevard. After first stop from 4 to 5 minutes the two units will go back to Central Plaza. On Central Plaza, 4 scenes on the 4 flower beds, allowing during the last « Show Stop » from 4 to 6 minutes, to offer a new interactive dance with the visitors. Then the two units will continue their paths.

Certainly the center of Centra Plaza is the best location to see this show. It’s up to you to make your choice! Which team will support you?

You want to discover Elena of Avalor and Princess Sofia of Disney Chanel, the “Princess Promenade” is made for you! Too bad the songs are only in English when more 50% of visitors are French.

Visitors can also meet at Adventureland of the Pirate Orchestra in the company of Jack Sparrow. This animation allows to make your children new Recrus of the most famous of the pirates and to come out graduated.

This Pirates and Princesses Festival is colorful, full of energy and will be a success with the guests. But beyond the main show and the two little animations, there is nothing else, not even Mickey and Minnie in costume that we could have met and take it in pictures. For that, it’s really a pity.

At the Walt Disney Studios Park The various building sites (life Base) are being installed and will be the core of the logistics of the multi-annual expansion of the park with Marvel Land announced for 2020, Star Wars Land and Frozen Land announced for the next years until 2025.

Disneyland Paris adds The Lion King show to its 2019 entertainment line-up

The Lion King is ready to roar in a brand new musical stage show at Disneyland Paris in 2019.

Favored characters such as Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumbaa, along with the iconic songs and the classic story from the film, will come to life onstage for a brand new musical production based on The Lion King in a newly renovated Chaparral Theater in Disneyland Park. The Lion King show is just one of many entertainment options available to guests visiting Disneyland Paris – from live stage shows to the beloved daily parade and seasonal events.

This summer, Marvel Super Heroes will arrive at the Walt Disney Studios Park for the Marvel Summer of Super Heroes season including an epic show at Studio Theater, with Thor, Black Widow, Spider-Man, and even the Incredible Hulk.
