The Savannah Bananas, the team that redefined baseball with pure entertainment, just made their much-anticipated return to Disneyland Resort, and wow, did they bring the fun! If you missed it, don’t worry, I’m here to tell you all about this wild, one-day takeover.
Mark your calendars! After their « un-peel-ievable » visit last year, the Savannah Bananas – truly « The Greatest Show in Sports » – bounced back to Disneyland Resort for an epic, one-day experience on Thursday, March 26, 2026. This time, they brought along one of the newest Banana Ball Championship League teams, the Indianapolis Clowns, to double the fun!
Seriously, if you thought 2025 was a home run, this year topped it. They really pulled out all the stops.
Just a quick heads-up: if you planned to join the fun at Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park, remember you need both a valid theme park ticket and a park reservation. Reservations fill up fast, so always check Disneyland.com for the latest.
With a Park Hopper ticket, you could jump between both theme parks on the same day. You just needed a reservation for your first park, then after 11:00 a.m., you were free to explore the other park and go back and forth (again, subject to availability).
What Happened During Savannah Bananas Day 2026?
It’s official: the Savannah Bananas took over Disneyland Resort for their special day, and it was glorious! They didn’t just visit; they conquered the parks with their unique brand of baseball entertainment.
Surprise moments, hilarious antics, and appearances from players filled both parks. We saw the day unfold for these amazing ballplayers, and it was a spectacle.
Grab your glove (metaphorically, of course!) and let’s dive into all the highlights from Savannah Bananas Day at Disneyland.

Kicking Off the Day in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Imagine this: the Bananas and Clowns started their day with a « first pitch » right inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park! What a way to kick things off. Players from both teams got ready for the day and took an epic photo in front of the legendary Millennium Falcon.
Talk about a memorable start in a galaxy far, far away! This set the tone for all the fun that followed across Disneyland Resort.

The Indianapolis Clowns Ride King Arthur Carrousel
The Indianapolis Clowns, famous for their unique blend of baseball and entertainment, made their Disneyland debut this year! They took a break from prepping for their weekend games at Angel Stadium to enjoy some classic Fantasyland charm.
Talk about a picture-perfect moment! We saw the players all smiles, posing in front of King Arthur Carrousel, riding the hand-painted horses of this iconic 1955 opening day attraction. What a treat!
For those who don’t know, the Clowns were a legendary barnstorming baseball team for over 50 years. They paved the way for Banana Ball by showing everyone that baseball could be seriously fun and entertaining. Want to know more about this awesome team? Head over to BananaBall.com!
Dancing and Singing in Front of Sleeping Beauty Castle
Last year, the Bananas blew us away with a special dance, full of tricks and flips, to « Hey Baby » right in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. It was an instant classic!
Well, they did it again, and even bigger! Players from both the Clowns and Bananas gathered at the castle for some fantastic coordinated dance moves. They even grooved to « When You Wish Upon a Star »! Dressed in their signature yellow, the teams put on a show alongside Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Clarabelle Cow, and Goofy. The fans loved every second!
To top it all off, Savannah Bananas owner Jesse Cole spoke to the buzzing crowd, getting everyone to wave their hands to « Hey Baby. » The energy was absolutely infectious, setting the stage perfectly for the afternoon cavalcade at Disneyland Park.
Pure Joy: The Savannah Bananas Cavalcade!
The Savannah Bananas Cavalcade last year was an absolute highlight, right? This year, it was just as fantastic! The entire Disneyland Park parade route buzzed with cheering, dancing, and all the hilarious superstar shenanigans we’ve come to expect from these guys. They truly bring the party!
Music pumped through the air as select players shimmied and strutted down Main Street, U.S.A. Fans, many decked out in Bananas gear and Mickey ears, celebrated everywhere. We even caught some players like Jackson Olson and KJ Jackson waving from the classic Main Street Vehicles, sporting their iconic yellow uniforms. What a festive and energetic moment!
California Adventure Gets Its First Bananas Performance!
This year brought a fantastic new addition: the Savannah Bananas headed to California Adventure for a truly unique show, with the beautiful Pixar Pier skyline as their backdrop. What a setting!
Right-handed pitcher Derek Klena kicked things off by singing « Shut Up and Dance » with the rest of the Bananas. Then, the Clowns took the stage with their own amazing rendition of « Right Above It. » It was electric!
Next up, the official band joined the legendary Man-Nanas on stage for an epic dance-off to an instrumental « Beat It. » Finally, the whole Bananas roster came out to « Shipping Up to Boston, » and Derek led them in another captivating performance. Seriously, get those « spirit fingers » ready – the energy was unbelievable!
Fans Meet the Bananas and Clowns!
At the Hyperion Theater Courtyard in California Adventure, some incredibly lucky fans snagged a rare opportunity: photo ops with select players! Jackie Bradley Jr. from the Clowns and Reese Alexiades from the Bananas were there, making it an unforgettable experience for those who got in.
We even heard from Split, the Bananas’ official mascot, about the day’s excitement. His encouraging thoughts? Well, they were pure Bananas: “

.” Couldn’t agree more, Split!
