“There are some brilliant concept artists who’ve worked on the Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University movies over the years, and I think they’re just beautiful movies,” Brett shared. “So, I really dug into what the other artists have done. Guests are going to see a lot of shapes and compositions that really reflect some of that early concept artwork.”
To make this vision a reality, Brett worked closely with the ever-creative minds at Pixar to ensure that the characters featured at Pixar Place Hotel stayed true to their established look, personality, and story. Once the artwork was approved and delivered to the hotel’s colorful lobby, it was time to transform these concepts into a real-life environment. Now, we get to enjoy them as downloadable wallpapers for desktop, mobile, and smart watch devices.
