Imagine spending a day at Disneyland Paris, not just for the rides, but to explore nature and learn about our planet! That’s exactly what happened for some lucky kids this June.
On June 10, as part of Disney VoluntEARS Week – a special time dedicated to community engagement across the resort – Disneyland Paris welcomed children from Secours Populaire Français and Chessy’s “L’étoile mystérieuse” leisure center. The day was all about connecting with nature and understanding how important it is to protect our environment. This initiative isn’t just about fun; it’s a playful, hands-on way to spark curiosity in young minds about the amazing diversity of life around us and how natural phenomena shape their everyday world.
Our incredible Disney VoluntEARS guided the children through several exciting activities. They got to discover the different types of trees growing at Disneyland Paris, learn how to identify various insects, and even recognize the distinct calls of different birds. Plus, they enjoyed a special show all about trees and even met Pocahontas!
Older children also got to play a special game in Disney Village. They had to figure out who the “true responsible citizen” was among six characters, all brought to life by Disney VoluntEARS.
The day wrapped up with some well-deserved fun inside the Disney Parks. This fantastic event truly shows how dedicated Disneyland Paris is to inspiring future generations through engaging and educational experiences. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Disney brings its magic beyond entertainment, teaching vital lessons in a truly memorable way.
