  • Disneyland After Dark 2026: The Ultimate Guide to the Park’s Nighttime Magic!

    Ready to experience Disneyland like never before? The 2026 Disneyland After Dark lineup just dropped, and it is a massive treat for any fan of the park’s history, from rare characters to a brand-new theme celebrating 70 years of favorites.

    These themed parties give you four full hours of fun after the park closes, but the real pro tip is the « mix-in »: your ticket lets you enter the park starting at 6 p.m. That is three extra hours to enjoy attractions before the party even starts! Plus, you get unlimited digital downloads of your PhotoPass memories to keep the magic alive.

    The parties run on select nights from January through June 2026. Here is the breakdown of what is coming.

    Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite

    Love is in the air this winter! Sweethearts’ Nite returns for nine nights in January and February. It is the perfect date night, whether you are bringing a soulmate or your best friend.

    The Highlights: Don’t miss the new « Celebrate Love Cavalcade » on Main Street, U.S.A., or the romantic « Once Upon a Dream » musical show featuring Disney royalty under the stars. Feeling brave? Grab a partner for Disney Duets karaoke at the Golden Horseshoe.

    Dates: Jan 22, 25, 27 and Feb 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 17.

    Disneyland After Dark 70 Years of Favorites

    NEW! Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites

    This is the big one. To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Disneyland Resort, this brand-new theme takes us on a nostalgic trip through seven decades of park history. It is a dream for us Disney history buffs!

    The Highlights: You can catch the « Sounds of Magic » show on the Rivers of America featuring music from lost classics like « Animazement. » If you love to dance, head to Tomorrowland for an 80s throwback at Videopolis or go swing dancing at the Royal Theatre. Look out for « Long Lost Friends » like Merlin, the Fantasmic! monkeys, and even characters from the Carousel of Progress.

    Dates: March 3 and 5.

    Get ready to feel like a kid again. Disney Channel Nite is back for three nights of high-energy 2000s vibes. It is all about the music and characters we grew up watching.

    The Highlights: Penny Proud makes her park debut this year! You can also join a Camp Rock sing-along at the Golden Horseshoe or watch the « High School Musical – ZOMBIES Pep Rally. » Oh, and don’t forget the Agent P churro!

    Dates: April 12, 14, 16.

    Star Wars Nite - Disneyland After Dark

    May the Force be with you! Star Wars Nite returns with something huge: the expanded timeline at Galaxy’s Edge. This means you can finally see icons like Darth Vader, Han Solo, and Luke Skywalker walking around Batuu.

    The Highlights: Watch the March of the First Order in Tomorrowland, learn lightsaber moves from the masters, and listen to the Cantina Band on the Rivers of America. It is the ultimate immersive night for any fan of the saga.

    Dates: April 28, 30 and May 4, 6.

    Pride Nite - Disneyland After Dark

    June brings Pride Nite, a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. The park transforms with rainbow projections and an incredible atmosphere of unity.

    The Highlights: The « Welcome Pride Cavalcade » features Mickey and Minnie in special multicolor outfits, and the night ends with a unique fireworks show. Whether you are line dancing at the Golden Horseshoe or hitting the ‘Ohana dance party with Stitch, the energy is unmatched.

    Dates: June 16 and 18.
