Récemment, les équipes de Walt Disney Imagineering Paris chargées de l’aménagement paysager des nouvelles expériences ont célébré une étape aussi importante que symbolique : l’installation du plus grand arbre de l’extension, mesurant près de 16 mètres de haut.
Ce majestueux Quercus phellos (Chêne Saule) surplombera fièrement le Jardin Gazebo, où les visiteurs pourront profiter de nombreuses animations dans un cadre élégant, inspiré des jardins à l’anglaise. Cette espèce d’arbre peut atteindre 30 mètres de haut à l’âge adulte.
Recently, the Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams responsible for landscaping the new experiences celebrated a milestone that is as significant as it is symbolic – the installation of the tallest tree in the expansion, standing nearly 16 meters tall.
This majestic Quercus phellos (Willow Oak) will proudly overlook Gazebo Garden, where guests can enjoy a range of entertainment in an elegant setting, inspired by English-style gardens. This tree species can reach 30 meters in height when fully grown.
Au total, plus de 1 000 arbres de différentes espèces seront plantés tout au long de l’expansion du parc, ce qui permettra aux visiteurs de s’immerger davantage dans les terres à thème.
Pendant plusieurs années, les Imagineers ont méticuleusement sélectionné chaque arbre du projet dans des pépinières en France, en Allemagne, aux Pays-Bas, en Belgique et en Italie. Ils ont veillé à identifier des espèces adaptées aux conditions climatiques de la Seine-et-Marne.
Les arbres, bosquets et arbustes de l’extension contribueront à faire de Disneyland Paris l’un des espaces verts les plus verdoyants d’Europe, avec déjà environ 33 000 arbres, 330 000 arbustes et buissons et 7 400 m² de parterres de fleurs.
In total, more than 1,000 trees of various species will be planted throughout the park’s expansion, further immersing visitors in the themed lands.
For several years, the Imagineers have meticulously selected each tree in the project from nurseries in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. They took care to identify species adapted to the climatic conditions in Seine-et-Marne.
The extension’s trees, groves and shrubs will further establish Disneyland Paris as one of Europe’s most verdant green spaces, already boasting approximately 33,000 trees, 330,000 shrubs and bushes and 7,400m² of flowerbeds.
