Imagine watching people race up slippery stairs, toss inflatable donkeys, or even compete in challenges inspired by hotel housekeeping! This year marks The Ocho’s 10th anniversary, and they’re pulling out all the stops with 10 live events, mixing beloved favorites with brand-new quirky competitions. And yes, I said it: admission and parking won’t cost you a dime!

What Can You Watch?

This year’s lineup promises some of the most offbeat competitions you’ll ever see. From skill-based challenges to epic crowd-pleasing showdowns, there’s always something hilarious happening around every corner.

New This Year:

• Donk Toss – This challenge puts competitors’ accuracy to the test as they toss an inflatable donkey toward a target.
• Roofball – What started as a backyard game has evolved into a fiercely competitive sport. Players score points by tossing a ball onto a rooftop and strategically placing their shots.
• Housekeeping Games – Inspired by the daily skills of hotel housekeepers, this competition challenges participants with events that test speed, precision, and teamwork. It’s way more intense than it sounds!

Returning Favorites:

• Slippery Stairs – A true fan favorite! Competitors brave an extremely slick staircase, battling gravity (and each other) every step of the way. It’s pure chaos.
• Combat Archery – Part archery, part dodgeball. This fast-moving competition combines athleticism, strategy, and foam-tipped arrows in a unique test of skill.
• Dodgeball – The classic playground game gets a championship-level showcase as elite competitors duck, dive, and dodge their way to victory.
• Big League Wiffle Ball World Series – Backyard bragging rights are on the line! Expect creative pitching, clutch hitting, and plenty of clever Wiffle Ball strategy.
• Popdarts Championship – Contestants compete using suction-cup darts, aiming for precision throws and big points.
• Pop-A-Shot National Championship – The iconic arcade basketball game becomes a serious competition as players go head-to-head to make as many baskets as possible.

Even if you can’t be there, many of these hilarious competitions will air on ESPN platforms. But trust me, nothing beats seeing it live!
