Get ready for a truly magical checkout experience at Disneyland Paris! Starting in summer 2026, new themed payment terminals will begin rolling out across both parks, ensuring the Disney magic extends right up to the very last step of your purchase.
Disneyland Paris, in collaboration with its Official Partner Visa, is introducing a first-of-its-kind immersive payment system. Teams from Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, Maintenance, IT, Central Workshops, and Corporate Alliances & Partnerships have worked tirelessly for months to design and create these unique, custom-made terminals.
Their goal? To deepen the immersion for every guest. Imagineers dedicated countless hours to ensuring each terminal perfectly blends into its surroundings. They’ve crafted ten distinct designs, each reflecting a different iconic location. Whether you’re in one of Disneyland Park’s five lands or exploring the immersive worlds of Disney Adventure World—from Avengers Campus to World of Frozen or World Premiere Plaza—your payment terminal will tell a story.
Seriously, no detail was overlooked! From the decorative casing to the very plate showing payment methods, everything screams ‘theme.’ You’ll see terminals shaped like a crown in Fantasyland, adorned with a crocus flower in World of Frozen, or featuring the iconic Luxo ball in Worlds of Pixar. These themed casings, a blend of resin and aluminum, came to life thanks to Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and the Central Workshops teams. They combined their expert skills in metallurgy, engraving, and painting to bring these miniature works of art to fruition.
And it’s not just the hardware! Imagineers also developed unique screen animations. Picture a treasure chest opening on an Adventureland terminal, or a piece of cheese mysteriously getting nibbled away at La Place de Rémy. How cool is that?
In total, over 500 payment terminals will be replaced across dining and shopping locations in both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World. The full rollout should be complete by August 2026. This small but mighty change truly shows how Disneyland Paris is always looking for new ways to make our visits even more magical.
