Southern California summers can get hot, and nothing beats the heat quite like a delicious frozen treat at Disneyland Resort! After years exploring every corner of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, I’ve found my absolute favorite spots for ice cream, refreshing slushies, and invigorating cold brews.
Want to know where to cool down with something truly special? Let’s dive into the best frozen delights the parks offer!
Ice Cream and Milkshakes
When the sun is blazing, ice cream is always the answer. Here are my top picks to grab scoops, sundaes, and sandwiches that will definitely get you into that summer vacation mood.

For a quick, classic treat, head to any of the snack carts scattered throughout the parks. We all adore the iconic Mickey-shaped ice cream bars and sandwiches – they’re perfect for eating on the go as you explore. Don’t forget to look for popsicles, frozen bananas, and those delicious chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches too!

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor

The Golden Horseshoe in Disneyland Park is another fan-favorite eatery. Beyond its chicken tenders, mini corn dogs, and fish & chips, they also serve incredible ice cream!
