Get ready, Muppet fans! If you thought Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets was just a high-speed thrill, think again. The queue and attraction are packed with hidden nods and details that will delight you. Hold tight, because the ride to The Electric Mayhem concert isn’t just about speed – it’s a festival of Muppet references!
The volume is turned way, way up for Muppet enthusiasts (and those who love going zero to 60 in just three seconds) as you race across town to The Electric Mayhem’s biggest, loudest, most psychedelic concert of your life. But trust me, it’s not just about getting there. The journey itself holds so many treasures.
The G-Force Records building, reimagined at the end of Sunset Boulevard, feels less like a typical queue and more like gaining exclusive backstage access to The Muppets’ greatest hits. The moment you step inside G-Force Records – now under the new management of Muppet real estate mogul, J.P. Grosse – you’re completely surrounded. Memorabilia, props, visual gags, and of course, The Muppets themselves greet you at every turn.
Walt Disney Imagineering poured immense care and dedication into curating every single detail, with a little help from… well, Yolanda the Rat! These « blink-and-you’ll-miss-it » references layer Muppet nods throughout the experience. And yes, many beloved items from Muppet*Vision 3D found a new home right here.
Even without a special pass, you’re getting a VIP sneak peek at some of the coolest Easter eggs you’ll find on your way to the concert.
Gallery Case Room
As you enter G-Force Records, you’ll spot an in-progress gallery case, lovingly put together by Yolanda the Rat. Who else could you trust with such iconic pieces?

- You’ll see a truly fabulous tribute to Miss Piggy, showcasing one of her most iconic looks: a pink and green polka dot dress with a matching hat.
- The Muppets Studios recently donated Kermit’s original banjo, famed from “The Rainbow Connection,” to the Walt Disney Archives. While that precious original is safely stored, Imagineers created a perfect replica for you to see right here.
- And of course, G-Force Records wouldn’t be complete without honoring The Electric Mayhem. Both Floyd and Janice’s guitars on display are originals straight from The Muppet Show!
The Alley
With your VIP passes ready, step into the alley where your rocking L.I.M.O. (Lengthy Immediate Motion Object) awaits. Take your time here; dozens of Easter eggs are hidden around every corner.

- You’ll find several props directly from Muppet*Vision 3D, including some of those distinctive shipping crates from the original building. And for fans of those famously grumpy old hecklers, Statler and Waldorf’s chairs from the theater balcony are also here!
- Gonzo, always marching to the beat of his own drum, embarked on a new adventure: « Gonzo’s Stunt School – Hollywood. » You’ll recognize his « The Great Gonzo » banner from the pre-show nestled nearby, along with his stunt airplane.
- And when it’s time to launch Gonzo out of a cannon? He uses the very same one from Muppet*Vision that the penguins once aimed at the Swedish Chef.
- Looking for some delicious details? Pizza boxes from the Hollywood institution PizzeRizzo are close by.
- Bonus! Even the Mona Lisa from Mama Melrose’s restaurant has found its way into the alley.
- Across the alley, The Squeakeasy displays an « established in 1936 » sign – the same year Jim Henson was born! Keep an eye out for nearby flyers suggesting « someone has lost a bunny, » a nod to Bean Bunny running away. You’ll also spot laundry strung up outside a fire escape, featuring Fozzie’s bowtie, a PizzeRizzo apron, and a tour shirt for The Electric Mayhem.
- One of the biggest (literally!) Easter eggs is the “blast off” billboard advertising Pop Off. Fozzie once hid his Studebaker right here in The Muppet Movie.
Muppet Labs Parking Garage
Bunsen and Beaker have been hard at work in the Muppet Labs Automotive Division. Naturally, you’ll find some of their unique vehicles parked around.

- For those needing a fast, compact ride, the Interpol Car from Muppets Most Wanted now calls this parking garage home.
- And if you ever dreamed of taking Muppet Labs on the road, the fan-favorite Muppet Mobile Labs – previously seen at EPCOT, Disney California Adventure, and Hong Kong Disneyland – sits proudly nearby.
On the Hollywood 101 Freeway
Your L.I.M.O. has arrived in style! While you’re scream-singing along to the rocking music onboard, try to keep your eyes peeled for even more Muppet sights zooming past.

- You’ll whiz past World Wide Studios, the famous movie studio featured in The Muppet Movie.
- Is that… Rat Pizza? Yes, it is! The iconic PizzeRizzo sign found a new home right alongside the 101.
- You might also spot a Waldo crossing, a sweet nod to the « Spirit of 3D » from Muppet*Vision 3D.
- And of course, you can’t keep moving right along without finding an « Obligatory Easter Egg. »
Backstage at the Concert
Rock on!

- As your L.I.M.O. coasts to a stop, two familiar faces refuse to rock out: Statler and Waldorf! Your eyes don’t deceive you; those really are the same Statler and Waldorf figures from Muppet*Vision 3D.
- Another cherished item brought over is the tribute to Jim Henson. It used to hang in the rafters during the Muppet*Vision pre-show. Now, this moving portrait of Jim Henson as a Muppet proudly overlooks the ride’s exit.
I really hope you enjoy your rockin’, rollin’, and totally groovalicious ride with The Muppets! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled; I bet you’ll discover a funky new Muppet detail every single time you visit.
