Disney magic is at its best when it creates moments that truly matter. This week, Disneyland Paris celebrated World Wish Day by hosting 80 children from across Europe for a three-day journey filled with surprises and smiles.

The families stayed at the Disney Newport Bay Club, where Disney VoluntEARS met them to ensure a stress-free trip. These volunteer Cast Members accompany the families so they can focus entirely on enjoying the attractions and shows at their own pace. It is a fantastic way to make sure everyone gets the most out of the parks.
This year is particularly special as Disneyland Paris hits a major milestone: 25,000 wishes granted since 1992. Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris, shared that offering these moments of wonder when families need them most remains one of the resort’s greatest achievements.

The weekend featured some incredible highlights at Disney Adventure World. Three huge Frozen fans saw their dreams come true in the heart of Arendelle. After a private dance and costume session, they met Anna and Elsa for a moment they will never forget.

We also saw a heartwarming selfless act from a young boy named Luca. Instead of a wish for himself, he wished for his little sister Elena to become a princess. At Sleeping Beauty Castle, Elena received a royal makeover and was crowned alongside her brother, while Ariel, Cinderella, Aurora, and Jasmine looked on. These personal stories remind us of the real power of these experiences.
Disneyland Paris works with over 50 associations across Europe to welcome more than 1,000 children facing serious illness every year. Globally, Disney has granted over 170,000 wishes in the last 45 years, showing that the magic reaches far beyond the park gates.
