    Imagine Magic Kingdom completely taken over by Halloween, but in the best possible way! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party isn’t just a regular park day; it’s a special, separately ticketed event that turns the park into a vibrant, spooky wonderland after dark. You get exclusive parades, fireworks, unique character meet-and-greets, and, of course, tons of trick-or-treating. It’s the perfect excuse to wear your most creative Disney-themed costume, stroll through a transformed park, and feel that amazing Halloween magic.

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates

    Mark your calendars! The 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off on August 7 and runs all the way to October 31. Remember, these are specific nights only, so choosing your date is key. In August, you’ll find parties on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. September mostly follows this pattern, adding one Thursday on the 24th. Come October, the spooky fun happens almost every Thursday, most Fridays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and of course, Halloween night itself!

    New and Returning Entertainment in 2026

    Beyond the classic magic, the party always brings special entertainment! This year, get ready for something brand new: Stitch is taking over the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland for an ever-changing dance party! He’ll be joined by Lilo and Angel, and with Lilo’s costume trunk in his mischievous paws, every costume change will spark a new, unpredictable theme. And for those who love a hauntingly good tune, good news: the Cadaver Dans are back to serenade you with their soulful harmonies!

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tickets

    So, how do you get in on the spooky fun? Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party vary in price depending on the date. If you’re staying at a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, or Shades of Green, you get early access to tickets starting May 5. Everyone else can buy tickets starting May 12. Trust us, these parties often sell out, especially closer to Halloween, so grab yours early! Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members also get special discounts. You can buy tickets by calling the Disney Reservation Center at 407-934-7639. Here’s a pro tip: your party ticket lets you enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM, even though the party officially starts at 7:00 PM. That gives you up to eight hours to enjoy all the Halloween magic!

And don’t fret if you forget your candy bucket – they provide complimentary treat bags for everyone, adults included! While costumes aren’t mandatory for trick-or-treating, we highly recommend dressing up! It adds so much to the atmosphere. Just remember to follow the official costume guidelines for the park to ensure a safe and magical experience for everyone.

    One of the coolest parts of the party is meeting characters you usually don’t see, or seeing your favorites in unique Halloween outfits! Imagine shaking hands with Jack Skellington and Sally, or seeing Mickey and Minnie together in their adorable costumes at the Town Square Theater. Pooh dressed as a bumblebee? Yes, please! You might even catch festive royal couples like Ariel and Eric or Aladdin and Jasmine. And keep those eyes peeled – villains often lurk around, ready for a creepy photo op! Watch Winifred, Sarah, and Mary try to cast their most haphazard spell with help from some of Disney’s most notorious villains: Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and The Evil Queen. Get ready to clap and sing along – they’ll need your help adding ingredients to their cauldron!
