Marvel Season of Super Heroes started yesterday at Disneyland Paris! And who say novelty, says a big crowd! 30 minutes to access the parks between the search of the bags and the passage of the turnstiles.
For decorations of the season, only the statue of Captain Marvel at the entrance of the Park brings novelty. The design cannot be suitable for everyone, but there is an effort.
Speaking of Captain Marvel, there are so many people that to see this character you had to wait at least 2H from 10.30 am! Might as well tell you that seeing her in the show stark Expo was enough for us!
Stark Expo is THE show to see. In 2018, the show benefited from an introduction of 5 minutes and 5 minutes of shares. In version 2019 the dynamic introduction of 4minnutes continue with 13 minutes of actions and twists.
Once again, Loki wants the ARC reactor. He turns out to be the black widow to steal at Spider-man and Thor before its transforming and calling Red Skull with his soldiers. And surprise, Captain Marvel arrives, crosses the square and saves everyone. The show is dynamic and plays with space. The only weak point remains the dialogues, especially for Captain Marvel who are Dummies, they are from another time.
Among the various stunt shows, Marvel Super Hero United at Studio Theatre has been updated, including the Visual effects in the thater and projections by the lighting designer Tim Lutkin creator of the lights effects in the Mickey and the Magician Show. The work done is excellent. In addition, the new lighting makes it possible not to see the cables except for the vessel of Thanos which besides didnt have a highly sought aesthetic. Regarding the scene of the final fight, it is a straightforward success, one does not feel any length. The only downside is the red car that loses in effect with a small levitation few impressive. Too bad, this is the only part of version 2018 that should not be touched for this new edition of the show.
The other drones are smaller than last season, which makes it easier to see the light effects. Overall the show is much better than last year, even if the scenario remains that of a cascade show, that is to say a little elementary.
Note that there is also a show “Dancing with the Guardians of the Galaxy”, also on the outdoor stage, on which Groot appears for the first time!
The encounter with Spider-man is possible in backlot! Among the decorations, we find two yellow taxis. One present in the land since the opening of the park in 2002, and the other in the hotel New York where it was exhibited of 1992 to 2018.
On the renovation side, the Walt Disney Studios Park is currently open without Studio tram tour, motor… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular or even the Cars ride. The scaffolds the Tower of terror will be withdrawn gradually.
The first results are completely insane! The tower is in a pitiable State. The color difference between the restored and the other zones is glaring. The walls of the Tower even have holes caused by the fixings of the scaffolds and roughly filled.
It is hoped that the work that will take place at night will continue, because many zones remain to be renovated. Hopefully it’s not just a paint job.
Finally, when leaving the Park, you can easily see the installation of a phone/radio/Internet antenna in the Disney sky. Its implementation is due to the dismantling of the transmitters/receivers that were arranged on the Disney’s New York Hotel and whose renovation imposes their temporary withdrawal.
