Mickey’s Philharmagic at Disneyland Paris

Bonjour à tous, voici notre retour de ce qu Disney présente comme une nouvelle attraction « Mickey’s Philharmagic ».

Aujourd’hui a eu lieu l’ouverture anticipée aux passeports annuels de Disneyland Paris pour cette attraction connue sur le continent asiatique et américain. Cette attraction, annoncée comme une nouveauté par M. Daniel DELCOUR vice PDG de Disneyland Paris, fait une ouverture anticipée ce dernier week-end de septembre avant d’être accessible à tous les visiteurs dès le lundi 1er octobre.

En réalité, il s’agit juste d’un nouveau film. Après Captain EO, Chérie j’ai rétréci le public, Ant-Man, Star Wars Path of the Jedi, Pixar short film festival,…. C’est maintenant au tour de Mickey’s Philarhmagic d’être présenté au Discoveryland Theater.

Actually, it’s just a new movie. After Captain EO, Honey, I Shrunk The Audience, Ant-Man, Star Wars Path of the Jedi, Pixar short Film Festival,…. It is now Mickey’s Philharmagic turn to be presented at the Discoveryland Theater.

– La localisation de l’attraction // The location of the attraction:
Cette attraction à toujours été construite dans les Fantasyland de Honkong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland et du Magic Kingdom de Floride. L’arrivée dans Discoveryland à Disneyland Paris relève du non-sens total au vue de l’histoire et des personnages Disney qui en fond partie. Ainsi on passe d’une attraction comme Space Mountain ou Star Tours, à Donald rencontrant la petite sirène. Il y a un problème, les univers ne collent pas.

This attraction has always been built in the Fantasyland of Honkong Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom of Florida. – L’absence de permis de construire // Lack of building permits :
En effet, si la salle devait être adaptée à l’attraction, un permis de construire consultable en mairie aurait été déposé pour modifier certains éléments en salle comme les sorties de secours. Il faut savoir que l’attraction doit avoir en réalité un écran hémisphérique d’au moins 120° pour englober les téléspectateurs. Cet écran aurait ainsi plongé les visiteurs dans l’action et non offrir un film projeté sur un mur plat.
Cet écran aurait grignoté sur les premières portes latérales du théâtre mais aussi sur la partie assise de la sale impactant la plateforme servant pour un des effets 4D.
En soit, le théâtre n’est pas adapté pour accueillir cette attraction.

– L’absence de communication // Lack of communication
Si certain peuvent être étonné de voir aucune publicité sur les réseaux sociaux, la télévision ou encore dans le métro parisien, sachez ce que n’est pas étonnant. Disney sachant qu’il ne s’agit que d’un nouveau film, ne pouvait lancer une campagne de communication sur une nouveauté qui n’en est pas une. C’est pour cela que la petite communication pour la saison Halloween a été maintenue par l’entreprise, car bien plus vendeur.

Encore une fois, c’est le même schéma, le seul indice la présence de panneaux au niveau de l’entrée. Dépense minimale, intégration zéro.

Aux extérieurs inchangés, on peut également rajouter le pré-show et la salle de spectacle qui n’ont plus pas évolués. Aucun effort et investissement n’a été réalisé pour plonger le visiteur dans un univers. Nous ne parlerons pas de l’absence de l’AudioAnimatronic (robot) en fin de film.

Plus globalement c’est un sentiment de déception, que les connaisseurs des parcs Disney vont ressentir. Celui de voir arriver une attraction qui ne mérité pas cela, une réalisation dégradée et Low Cost, en comparaison avec les autres modèles dans le monde. Il aurait été faisable de réaliser un théâtre dans Fantasyland qui, à Disneyland Paris, dispose d’énormément de terrains vacants et donner à « Mickey’s Philharmagic » toutes ses chances de pérennités. Il s’agit d’un ultime pansement pour espérer faire venir les visiteurs dans cette partie du parc souffrant désespérément d’attrait.
Ainsi voir une attraction si bien conçue pour ses modèles asiatiques être ainsi présentée en France donne le sentiment que « Mickey’s Philharmagic » est passé sur l’hôtel du sacrifice car Disneyland Paris avait besoin d’élargir son offre voyant l’hivers arriver tout en investissant le moins possible.

Encore une occasion de loupée à Disneyland Paris.
