C’est avec une semaine de retard que nous vous proposons notre article, en raison des événements liés à l’attentat de Charlie Hebdo, qui nous ont profondément touchés. Situation peut propice au rire et à la distraction.
Mais bon, retournons à nos moutons ! Nous avons ce 15 janvier 2015 fait la visite du site sous le vent et la pluie.
Direction le parc Walt Disney Studios, où…. nous n’avons pas vue de news. En cette saison creuse il n’y a qu’une seule représentation de Moteur… Action! proposée aux visiteurs durant la semaine.

But okay, let’s go back to Disney! We have visited to the site this January 15, 2015 in the wind and the rain.
Direction the Walt Disney Studios Park where it’s the slow season for the resort and where there is very little news. With few visitors in the park there is only a single daily performance of the Lights, Motor… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular during the week.
Studio 1 n’a plus les décorations de noël, et « Big Hero 6 » qui sortira en février en France est bien à l’affiche sur le bâtiment.

Très peu de monde sur le parc. Ratatouille 10 minutes d’attente en file normale, 0mn pour les Fast Pass et le Single Rider.
Very few people were in the Park the day I visited. The big blockbuster attraction of the park, Ratatouille, was just a 10 minute wait in the standby line and there was a 0 min wait for Fast Pass and Single Rider.
Toy Story Playland était fermé pour la journée en raison du trop fort vent qui soufflait sur le site. Les Cast Members étaient positionnés en face des entrées du land et des Rides.

Au Fantasya Garden, les arbres sont en cours de remplacement, la zone est maintenant moins chargée, plus ouverte et offre une meilleure vue sur l’hôtel Disneyland.
The trees of Fantasia Gardens are being replaced. The area is now less dense, more open and the views is better of the Disneyland hotel.

A Discoveryland Space Mountain Mission 2 et Videopolis sont maintenant fermés pour une réhabilitation en profondeur durant 6 mois, afin de rouvrir à la mi-juillet. Ajoutez à ça, la fermeture de l’attraction Autopia pour sa révision annuelle, on se retrouve dans un land de palissades fonctionnant avec quasiment la moitié de ses attractions. Et dire qu’à partir de maintenant et pendant 27 mois, Disneyland Paris sera continuellement sous palissades pour préparer les 25 ans aux travers différentes rénovations d’attractions. A noter qu’à l’occasion de l’assemblée générale d’Euro Disney S.C.A. le 13 janvier dernier, il a été annoncé que la zone de Space Mountain Mission 2 et du Nautilus sera repensée…. Des changements sont à attendre au delà du nom de l’attraction, qui deviendra tout simplement « Space Mountain », du nettoyage du dôme, de la file d’attente et des effets dans le ride ? L’avenir nous en dira plus !

Frontierland, la rénovation se poursuit pour le Silver Spur Steakhouse (restaurant fermé), De plus l’attraction Thunder Mesa Riverboat est fermée pour révision, l’aire de jeux de Pocahontas est fermée tout comme la zone du Cottonwood Creek Ranch provoquant la fermeture de la gare du Disneyland Railroad.
Frontierland, renovation continues for the Silver Spur Steakhouse (restaurant closed). Thunder Mesa Riverboat attraction is also closed for maintenance and the playground of Pocahontas is closed as well as the area of Cottonwood Creek Ranch, causing the closure of the Disneyland Railroad station.
En parlant du Riverboat, le Mark Twain est de nouveau visible depuis l’air de jeu pour enfants (bien que celle-ci soit fermée). L’état du bateau à aube se passe de commentaire. Il ne serait pas étonnant d’apprendre que la volonté soit de le laisser se décomposer afin le détruire pour le reconstruire pour avoir une enveloppe moins lourde que pour sa réhabilitation. Une pratique désolante si elle s’avère vraie.
Speaking of the Riverboat , the Mark Twain is again visible since the childrens playground (although it is closed). The condition of the boat at dawn is chaotic. It would be not unsurprising to learn whether the will to let it decompose to destroy it and to rebuild it, for a envelope less heavy that a simple rehabilitation .

La zone du Cottonwood Creek Ranch recevra l’univers d’Arendelle cet été. En effet, toujours à l’assemblée générale annuelle, il a été annoncé le « Frozen Summer Fun » du 1er juin au 13 septembre 2015 avec spectacle, gourmandises, produits dérivés et rencontres de personnages. Cela dit, en analysant rapidement le communiqué, on se rend vite compte de différentes choses. « […] Anna et Elsa se produiront sur scène dans un décor hivernal inspiré du film. Elles proposeront à leurs invités de reprendre en chœur avec elles les plus belles chansons du plus gros succès Disney de tous les temps. […] Olaf, leur drôle de bonhomme de neige qui rêve d’été sera aussi de la partie sur écrans géants pour permettre à tous de suivre les paroles des chansons. […] ». Vous l’avez compris, le spectacle au Chaparal Theater se trouve être un simple karaoké où les personnages sont peut présents (déjà évalué ici lors de tests) mais aussi Olaf, pourtant présent comme personnage sur scène aux Etats-Unis, ne le sera pas à Disneyland Paris. A n’en pas douter, les produits dérivés seront à l’image de ce qu’il y a à Disneyland Resort en Californie où leur second parc a une saison intitulée « Frozen Fun » et qui se termine le13 mai. Mais bon, avant d’aller trop loin dans la critique avec une énième reconvention de la zone du Cottonwood Creek Ranch et bien d’autres, attendons de voir cela en vrai. Cela dis, on peu féliciter Disney de surfer sur ce succès en reprenant le concept des parcs Américains.

The impression after the test of « Disney Frozen Sing-Along » in Disneyalnd Paris in october 2014 :
Our point of view is clear and sharp. This « type of shows » doesn’t have to be on Disneyland Paris. First of all, we do not consider a « sing-along » as a show, but an animation. Ask at the end of show at the public sing together, it can do, but the result is not aesthetic because the language barrier is important and that the hubbub of songs of differents nationalities will be dense (the video shows well). Disneyland Paris must restrict its interactions with the public at the image of the former show « The Tarzan Encounter ».

So to summarize, do not that Disney falls into the trap of « sing-along », because we are not also players than the American public, « Sing-along » are an animation with only two formidable Cast Members on scenes, the language barrier is too great for the interaction, but it’s a great show for the Party (Halloween Party and maybe others in the future) . And above all, the « sing-along » give the impression of a park without resource to entertain its visitors. It is very simple, although this ‘show’ we gene, it would be acceptable if our Disneyland if we have already and others shows during the day in this park and this « show » as a Bonus. La théière est en révision. La sourie y est absente, certainement pour réviser le mécanisme interne qui lui permet de sortir de la tasse.

La Magie Disney en Parade est de retour. Le char de Peter Pan est toujours absent alors que les éléments de décors représentant Big Ben (détruit depuis quelques mois) sont bien arrivés en coulisse depuis plusieurs semaines. A Noter que les princesses Disney ne sont plus habillées de robes faites pour la parade mais de modèles conformes à ceux des autres parcs Disney. C’est bien dommage, car ils sont moins « magique ».
The Disney Magic on Parade is back. Peter Pan float is still absent then that the decorations which represent of Big Ben (destroyed there are few months) are arrived behind the scenes for several weeks. Note that Disney princesses have not dressy in the dresses made for the parade, but models consistent with those of the other Disney parks. It is pity, because they are less « magical ».

Niveau hôtel, le New Port Bay Club poursuit sa rénovation. L’aile Ouest rentre maintenant progressivement en rénovation, alors que l’aile Est l’est toujours car en retard.

Il est aussi à noter que, chose étonnante, bon nombres d’arbres ont été coupé le long de la promenade autour du lac.

On terminera cet article par deux annonces faites lors de l’assemblée générale :
– Le premier est la validation officielle de la recapitalisation d’Euro Disney S.C.A.
– La deuxième concerne les dires de Virginie Calmels, qui déclare que la société Euro Disney s’attend encore à des pertes jusqu’en 2018 et que les actionnaires devront faire leur choix en connaissance de cause.
