Christmas to Star Wars Season
Bonjour à tous, voici notre premier article de l’année, en ce week-end de lancement de la deuxième saison star wars « Season of the Force ».
Hello everyone and Happy New Year, this is our first article of the year, on this launch weekend of the second season Star Wars « season of the Force ».
Mais revenons sur la fin de la saison de noël qui a été marquée par la magnifique dernière performance de « Mickey’s Christmas Big Bang » avec notamment les équipes du Département spectacles et créatives. Nous espérons que ce spectacle revienne les prochains hivers et pourquoi pas le maintenir à l’année.
But let’s go back to the end of the Christmas season which was marked by the magnificent last performance of « Mickey’s Christmas Big Bang » with notably the teams of the entertainment and creative department. We hope that this show will come back in the coming winters and why not to produce it year-round !?

The show on multiple angle
Ce 7 janvier 2018, a aussi été le moment de dire adieu à la version originale de Phantom Manor. Pas d’effervescence, mais un soulagement, l’attraction aura enfin le droit à une mise-à-jour sur le même modèle que celle des parcs Américains réalisée depuis plus de 10 ans.
Par ailleurs, le manoir qui voyait sa façade extérieure se dégrader depuis plus de deux ans sans compter les décors et effets à l’intérieur, vont pouvoir être remis à neuf.

En ce dernier jour d’exploitation, un badge « dernier voyage » a été distribué aux visiteurs.

13 janvier 2018 : C’est le lancement de la deuxième édition de la saison de Star Wars jusqu’au 25 mars. Découvrons les nouvelles décorations !
January 13, 2018: This is the launch of the second edition of the Star Wars season until March 25th. Let’s discover the new decorations!
La saison est clairement annoncée dès l’entrée dans Studio 1 au Parc Walt Disney Studios marquant l’événement découvrant des décorations hors normes ! Deux grands vaisseaux Star Wars sont exposés. La découverte du X-Wing devrait être immédiate en agissant comme un aimant sur les visiteurs. Ce n’est pas vraiment le cas car ce nouveau décors se fond dans un environement déjà chargé. Chacun des deux vaisseaux pèse 4 tonnes! Disney avec la mise en place de tels décors annonce la couleur.
The season is clearly announced at the entrance into Studio 1 at the Walt Disney Studios Park and discovering Unstandard decorations! Two big Star Wars Fighter are on display. The discovery of the X-Wing should be immediate by acting as a magnet on visitors. This is not really the case because this new set is melting in a already loaded environment. Each of the two ships weighs 4 tons!
A l’extérieur, on retrouve trois autres vaisseaux de l’univers Star Wars créés non pas par Disney mais par Légion 501, une association de Fans de l’univers Star Wars. On regrettera que les vaisseaux soit exposés sans être mis en valeur et laissés sur leurs supports à roulettes. Plus globalement, l’effort fait par Disney dans Studio 1 devrait être reproduit en extérieur avec des vaisseaux mieux mis en valeur.
Outside, there are three other ships from the Star Wars universe not created by Disney, but by Legion 501, a fan association of the Star Wars universe. It will be regretted that the vessels are exposed without being emphasized and left on their roller supports. More broadly, the effort made by Disney in Studio 1 should be replicated outdoors with better-valued vessels.
La marche du premier Ordre fait son grand retour avec une nouvelle chorégraphie qui met bien plus en valeur cette animation la rendant inévitable.
The First Order March is back with a new choreography that puts much more value on this animation making it inevitable.
Toujours côté animations, les patrouilles de stormtroopers font la joie des visiteurs.
Always on the animations, the patrols of Stormtroopers make the joy of the visitors.
Pour le spectacle que ce soit pour « Star Wars : Une galaxie lointaine très très lointaine » ou pour « Star Wars : Une Célébration Galactique » on retiendra trois choses: amélioration des effets visuels, amélioration des chorégraphies et de nouveaux personnages. En soit le spectacle nocturne qui était déjà un vrai bijou, se trouve cette année être incontournable.
For the show whether it’s for « Star Wars: A Galaxy far, far away » or for « Star Wars: A Galactic Celebration » we will remember three things: improved visual effects, improved choreography and new characters. The night show, which was already a real gem, is this year the must of the differents nighttime shows.
Vous l’avez compris, le parc Walt Disney Studios revient avec son événement annuel Star Wars et des ajustements qui font plaisir à voir car ils améliorent l’expérience. Une expérience qui se poursuit au parc Disneyland avec Star Tours mais surtout Hyperspace Mountain.
As you understand it, the Walt Disney Studios Park comes back with its annual Star Wars event and adjustments that are fun to see as they improve the experience. An experience that continues at Disneyland Park with Star Tours but especially hyperspace Mountain.
Enfin, pour terminer cet article, nous notons que malgrés les spectacles crées pour la saison aucun Meet ‘n’ Greet (rencontre avec des personnages) ne sont proposés pour les visiteurs. Un comble !
Finally, to finish this article, we will note that magrés the shows creates for the season no Meet and Greet with Star Wars characters are offered for visitors for the event.
